Sacramento Kings To Debut Next-Gen Intel True View Tech, Launch R&D Site at Golden 1 Center

Sacramento Kings are teaming up with Intel to launch a new research and development site at Golden 1 Center. The site will deliver broadcast enhancements for the NBA and drive the progression of immersive media experiences in sports. Intel Sports will introduce cloud based streaming volumetric video at Golden 1 Center and will enable with its next generation Intel True View platform. Sacramento Kings and Intel will launch the NBA’s first R&D Site at Golden 1 Center With the deployment of Intel True View at Golden 1 Center next season, the Sacramento Kings will test the next generation of immersive, volumetric technology, and will be the first NBA team to debut content when the technology launches. “We are constantly working to enhance the fan experience and it is an honor to have Golden 1 Center serve as the first Intel R&D site for the NBA,” says Vivek Ranadivé, chairman, CEO and owner of the Sacramento Kings. “Our visions are aligned, as Intel is driving the next wave of innovative technologies and our goal in building the premier sports and entertainment venue was to be the first to convert the entire facility into a giant gaming console.
