The leader adjusts the sails. ”  — William Arthur Ward That quote, a favorite of mine, has been top of mind ever since Adam Silver suspended the NBA season a few weeks ago. The commissioner’s decision sent shockwaves throughout the sports industry and opened many people’s eyes across the country to the fact that we are living in an unprecedented time. As bad as things are with the COVID-19 pandemic, I shudder to think what would have happened had sports continued to be played even for a few more weeks.
