Make All the Plans You Want, Sports Leagues, But 2020 Could Go Down as the Lost Season

Just a few days removed from President Donald Trump’s conference call with sports commissioners, leagues are starting to float ideas about returning to play. There’s talk about the UFC opening shop on a private island or a Native American reservation, about MLB moving its operations to spring training complexes in Arizona, about the NHL finding its own bubble in North Dakota. The NBA, the most measured of all the leagues, is exploring ways of possibly finishing its season in Las Vegas.
