The NBA, Microsoft Partner on Streaming Service

The NBA and Microsoft have announced a new multi-year partnership that will see the creation of a new direct-to-consumer streaming service to watch live and on-demand NBA games. Cloud computing service Microsoft Azure will power the platform, which is expected to launch in time for the 2020-21 season. The new global platform will encompass NBA League Pass, the league’s incumbent streaming service operated by NBA Digital, which is a joint entity between the NBA and Turner Sports.
