Bundesliga highlights go free to air on Sky Deutschland

Getty ImagesGerman pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland has announced its Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga broadcasts will be available free to air (FTA) when the domestic top-flight soccer league resumes on 16th May. With matches being staged behind closed doors, Sky has decided to provide free access to the comeback fixtures via its live highlights programme. Sky Konferenz will be available unencrypted to all viewers in Germany and Austria on the first two weekends on the Sky Sports News HD channel. Additionally, Sky Sports News HD and the broadcaster's digital platforms will cover the Bundesliga return with match footage.  Jacques Raynaud, Sky Deutschland’s executive vice president for sports and advertising, said: “We are grateful that with our programme for people in this challenging situation we can make our contribution to the best possible entertainment.
