Getty ImagesMajor League Soccer’s (MLS) DC United have partnered with live video production company Grabyo in a move designed to enhance the club’s digital content and help stay connected with fans during the league’s coronavirus-enforced hiatus. With the 2020 MLS season among several professional sports leagues suspended since mid-March, the Washington DC-based franchise said that they want to deliver timely content for supporters self-isolating at home during the pandemic. The deal allows United to gain access to Grabyo’s cloud video platform for the production and delivery of live broadcasts to Facebook, Periscope and Twitch. The platform will also enable the franchise's digital team to work remotely while collaborating in real-time.
