Williams F1 team up for sale as part of strategic review

Getty Images British racing outfit Williams have announced they are considering selling their Formula One team after a dip in the company’s financial results. The Williams Grand Prix Holdings (WGPH) group reported an adjusted loss of UK£13 million (US$15. 9 million) for the year ending 2019, against profits of UK£12. 9 million (US$15. 8 million) in 2018, and new investment will now be sought. Offering a minority or majority stake will be considered, but so too will an outright buy-out.
