ESPN will broadcast the MLB Draft for the first time since 2008, with MLB Network carrying their own coverage as well

For the first time ever, two different networks will be providing live, primetime coverage of the MLB Draft. Both ESPN and MLB Network will produce their own coverage of this year’s shortened five-round draft, which will take place June 10 and 11. The June 10 coverage will start at 7 p. m. Eastern and cover the first round and Competitive Balance Round A (so the first 37 picks), while June 11’s coverage will start at 5 p. m.
