COVID-19 continued to take a toll on automaker TV spending and impressions in May. Automakers spent an estimated $161. 6 million in May 2020 compared to $408. 9 million in May 2019, according to iSpot. Impressions, at 18. 9 billion, were down 46% from last year’s 35.
