Getty ImagesTechnology giant Amazon is making its four additional live match broadcasts from English top-flight soccer’s Premier League available for free on its Prime Video streaming platform. Amazon’s debut as a Premier League broadcast partner earlier in the 2019/20 season saw its package of matches made available to Prime members only. It was hailed as a success with viewership reportedly peaking at two million during Liverpool’s 5-2 win over Everton back in December. Now, having been afforded four additional games due to the suspension in play due to the coronavirus pandemic, Amazon has confirmed users will not need to be paying customers in order to watch games on the online streaming service when the top-flight campaign resumes from 17th June. How BT Sport brought the Bundesliga backAlex Green, managing director of Prime Video Sport Europe, said: "Like the rest of the country, we are excited to see the Premier League return to action. "We will be making all four of Amazon Prime Video's additional fixtures in the 2019/20 season available free of charge; fans will not need a Prime membership to view the games on Prime Video.
