Oceanic Pro League finds audio partner in EPOS

Riot Games‘ Oceanic Pro League has allocated its official audio partner in EPOS, which describes itself as a “pioneer in high-end audio solutions. ”
The deal will see EPOS provide its technology and services to the Oceanic League of Legends competition for the second split of 2020, which starts on June 5th.

EPOS has been steadily increasing its involvement in the past few months, extending or forming new relationships with tournament organiser BLAST, Danish organisation North, and German organisation SK Gaming.
Daniel Ringland, Head of Riot Games in Oceania, commented on the deal in a release: “The continued growth of the OPL in Split 1 was fantastic to see and we are thrilled to bring EPOS on board as an Official Partner to support and enhance the OPL. As a business we want to work with leaders in their field and when it comes to Audio, EPOS have incredible technology and products that will deliver an exceptional audio performance to the league. ”

At the end of 2019, Riot Games downsized the Oceanic Pro League by removing the operating subsidy for the competing teams.
