Celtic enlist Sunset+Vine for virtual season ticket production

Getty ImagesScottish soccer champions Celtic have enlisted production company Sunset+Vine to deliver live match coverage as part of the club’s forthcoming virtual season ticket offering. With matches set to be played in empty stadiums for the foreseeable future, the Scottish Premiership side plan to enhance digital access to match coverage via an online pass that will comprise all of Celtic’s home games during that period. Sunset+Vine, which produces UK broadcaster BT Sport’s coverage of the Uefa Europa League and the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL), will provide production staff, pundits and commentators to complement Celtic TV’s existing broadcast team. Reports in Scotland suggest former Hoops stars Johan Mjallby, John Hartson and Chris Sutton - who is currently a BT Sport pundit - could all feature in the coverage. Scottish Premiership and Sky Sports agree virtual season ticket TV dealCeltic TV is offered on an international basis and shows live match coverage to subscribers outside the UK and Ireland, in addition to post-match replays and other original programming. It is priced at £50 per year for subscribers within the UK and Ireland, and UK£14.
