Nike/TwitterNorwegian soccer star Ada Hegerberg has signed a reported ten-year endorsement deal with US sportswear giant Nike. Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, but the Agence France-Presse (AFP) news agency says the contract is worth ‘upwards of’ €1 million (US$1. 1 million) to Hegerberg, while Forbes reports that Nike will pay the 24-year-old a six-figure fee annually. Nike’s offer was enough to prise Hegerberg away from German sportswear brand Puma, whose contract with the Olympique Lyonnais striker reportedly expired in summer last year. “It is yet another massive step in my career,” Hegerberg was quoted as saying by the Times. “My performances brought me here, and I want to keep writing history with the help of Nike, on and off the field.
